It should also be pointed out that considerable information developed on each of these individuals could possibly have originated from confidential sources whose ~position in the community and in some instances personal safety are contingent today oni maintaining the confidentiality of the information furnished in this matter. Mr. BAXLEY claimed that any investigative reports provided by the F.B.I. would be available only to authorized investigators of his office. Mr. BAXLEY was advised that his request would be referred to the Civil Rights Division, Department of Justice for appropriate action. 3*
