trolled by the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party and its youth group,
the Younp Socialist Alliance, has participated <n virtually e v e r y anti-
w a r actiqp in recent years and t r u e to the imapc o_f the m a s t e r s has
embraced the single-issue strategy (i .e. thc w a r ). The Student Mobe
will sponsor a National Student Antiwar Conference in New York in late
February'. Student Mobe leaders again hclpe for mass participation on
the high school and college campiises throu.ghout thg nation in "tcach-ins"
and assemblies designed to rekindle a n antiwar sentiment. Due to a
variety of factbrs, s u c c e s s will be s c a n t at hcst. The Student Mobe,
not unexpect+edly, has recently endorsed planned demonstrations by the
Nationat Peace Action Coalition at New York and Los Angeles in late
April.
