f u r t h e r report thereon t o him by Decsillher 1, 1760.
On November 28, 1960, t h e Director of Central Intell?-cence
reported t h a t progress has cotltinned i n eliminating unnecessary
Clandestine Services; t h a t t h e Deputy Director/Plans balfevee the
changes he has made i n t h e past two years have corrected deficiencies,
and t h a t the s i t u a t i o n i s now satisfactory; t h a t he, the Director
of Central Intelligence, concurs i n t h i s belief; and that :he Deputy
Director/Plans would continue t o study organizrtion and mancgement
problems of concern t o the Soard.

d i r e c t l y responsive to the recornend?-tions of t h e President; 1s
