First, the Chinese Project which USeS^Blll^ vo1unteer students in motivational research studies with the objective of determining the best way to recruit and motivate neutral agents. Second, the study of defectors, which was a psychological study of defectors. The last studied Com- munist indoctrination techniques and stress psychology in general. This project also created the Society for the Investigation of - Human Ecology as a cut-out mechanism.
