One aspect of this project was to develop skills which could be used by the working field case officer to surreptitiously place a pill or other item in an item to be consumed by a target personality - for example, a drinker. A contractor was employed under Sub-Project Mo. 34 to prepare a paper on magicians' techniques for the covert conmuni- cation of information.
