Soviet critics of the science have been quick to seize on these two characteristics in order to categorically reject many of the phenomena, and they have be- littled some forms of such manifestations by contending that the conditions under which tests have been conducted have not been adequate to preclude fraud. In view of this situation, the Soviets will continue to investigate methodology, since they feel it absolutely necessary to quantify observed phenomena.
