Coramunism teaches that the so-called class struggle must be agitated until it erupts into a revolution by which the communists can seize power. Only then, in the communist view, will "peace" prevail. Because the communists believe that class warfare is continuous in all noncommunist countries and because they believe that they must agitate it and cap it with violent revolution, they do not consider that there is peace in the world today. The communists are at war with every non- communist nation right now. They will pursue this war relentlessly and with a vigor which they confidently predict will bring the only peace they desire--peace, which in their terms, means the total victory of commu- nism. Peaceful coexistence embraces only certain limited aspects of the political and economic phases of life. Peaceful coexistence applies only in relations between states.
