entitled "Committee to Secure Justice for MORTON SOBELL, IS - C”,
(Nyfile 100~-107111).
Page 5 of referenced memorandum indicated that one
Dr. UREY had been in Washington, D. C., on 12/22/64, for meetings
with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA),
and had met with "ABE FINNES", a former lawyer of the President.
It is believed that the individual, Dr. UREY contacted
was ABE FORTAS, a Washington, D. C. lawyer and personal friend
of President JOHNSON who was the subject of a Special Inquiry a
inves$igation condg@cted in October, 1964. SPS

personal friend and advisor to President LYNDON B. JOHNSON.
New York consider furnishing information set forth in
