Po Details: The Black Lives Matter movement has applied for, and been granted, a City of Ocala permit to demonstrate on the city square from 1700 hours through 2000 hours, July 17, 2016. In order to fully prepare and monitor all activity surrounding this event, the Ocala Police Department has requested that the FBI assist them by providing intelligence gathered from social media and other open source arenas in advance of the demonstration. As such, it is requested that this matter be opened and assigned in order to fully document the assistance provided to the Ocala Police Department before, during and after the event.
